2016 Arcaid Architecture Photography Awards
Twenty stunning architectural photographs have been shortlisted for the 2016 Arcaid Images Architecture Photography Awards.
The awards aims to highlight the expertise of specialist architectural photographers, who translate architecture into understandable 2D terms that explain the detail, character and environment of each project.
The annual award presents prizes in four categories – Exteriors, Interiors, Sense of Place, and Building in Use.
The 2016 jury comprised Emily Booth, executive editor of The Architectural Review; artist and Sto Werkstatt curator Amy Croft; Katy Harris, director of communications at Foster + Partners; architect Kai-Uwe Bergmann of BIG and photographers Fernando Guerra (the 2015 winner) and Ulrich Müller.
The 20 shortlisted images will be exhibited at this year’s World Architecture Festival in Berlin between 16 and 18 November, with an overall winner announced at the event’s gala dinner.
