Rose has a strong passion for photographing both people and places. She completed a Bachelor of Architecture in 2002 and practised as an Registered Architect in Auckland for seven years, before moving to the beautiful Bay of Plenty, where she now finds great pleasure in combining her lifelong love of photography, with her respect for thoughtfully crafted architecture and interior design.
She believes architectural photography is all about capturing the essence of each unique space, how sunlight dances through windows, what it feels like to move through each interior space or to pause in those moments of in-between. Each place has its own unique story to be told, in which people play an important role. She is captivated by how people move through spaces and how they bring life to architecture.
