Min Hall is a registered architect who has spent the last eight years transitioning from full time practice in Nelson to almost full time lecturing in Architecture at Unitec. She has a particular interest in low carbon materials and architectural responses to environmental issues. Min has received a number of NZIA awards for projects carried out by Min Hall Architects and also Arthouse Architects in Nelson, of which she is a founding director. She is a Fellow of the NZIA, is on the Standards New Zealand committee for the Earth Building Standards, and is a founding trustee of The Yimfy Trust, whose goal is to establish a centre for appropriate building technology in New Zealand.
