Scala Seminar Series: House and Garden
Unitec Scala Seminar Series is back for term 4 on Thursday 24 September from 12.30 - 1.30pm. Hamish Foote, artist and lecture in Landscape Architeture, Unitec Institute of Technology, will present a talk titled House and Garden - From London to the North.
England has institutions and architecture of world renown with one of the best climates for gardening. In June and July of this year Hamish visited some of the most famous. This illustrated talk will commence with the Natural History Museum in London, followed by Kew Gardens and then a progression of legendary locations culminating with Castle Howard to the North of England. Design, materials, vegetation and individuals of note will be discussed.
