Artist Lecture – Wellington

Japanese artist Lieko Shiga will be conducting a lecture at the City Gallery Wellington on Friday, 19 July at 6pm. The lecture is being presented as the precursor to the accompanying photographic exhibition All There Is Left at the Adam Art Gallery from 21 July.

In the lecture, Ms Shiga will draw on stories and narratives excerpted from a novel-in-progress that will eventually act as a literary framework for the photographic series.

The exhibition also includes works by New Zealand artist Paul Johns and Mexico City-based artist Francis Alys and will run until 29 September.
