The Understory

The Understory has already taken off in the United States, with The American Society of Landscape Architects running competitions between chapters of who can get the most attention. This year, the newly formed team at LASSU (Landscape Architecture Student Society at Unitec), are bringing the Understory to NZ, hosting it in Takutai Square, in Britomart, Auckland.

Students, academics and professionals will be available to chat to the public about what Landscape Architecture is, the vast scope of the profession and how often they are unknowingly interacting with public spaces that have been designed.

Between 11am and 1pm there will be live design competitions going on, open to any design professionals who wish to donate their time.
