Superuse design workshops
Jos de Krieger, partner at Superuse Studios, Rotterdam, presents three design workshops on the principles and processes of ‘superuse’: designing from reusable ‘waste’ materials in architecture, landscape and urban design
This workshop is offered to architects, landscape architects, design professionals, architecture and design graduates, clients, government and NGO staff, academics and interior architects. It will offer a new and innovative tool to help you to create truly sustainable projects, benefit local communities, and stimulate new business.
The workshop will cover:
• Understanding the blue/circular economy and material flows (amongst others) as a tool for architecture, design, landscape architecture and urbanism
• Learning about Superuse’s means-oriented design methodology
• Understanding the four main sources of materials, their pros and cons, and how they can be put to ‘superuse’ in architecture, landscape and urban design
• Learning about the systems and platforms Superuse Studios (and others) have designed to support their way of thinking and can be used globally to make your personal and business endeavours more environmental conscious
