Best Design Awards 2011

The Best Design Awards is an initiative of The Designers Institute of New Zealand and is an annual showcase of graphic, spatial, product and interactive design. As of 2010, entries judged Gold in each category will be awarded the inaugural Gold Pin, whilst the very best project in each discipline will be awarded the supreme, Purple Pin.

The highest accolade given by the Designers Institute – The John Britten Black Pin – will be awarded to an individual for their leadership, vision and achievement. The Designer’s Institute of New Zealand Black Pin for Outstanding Achievement will be awarded to a member of the Institute who has made a lasting and valuable contribution to the design profession and design culture in New Zealand.

The awards will take place during an evening function, where Dai Henwood will MC and there will be pre drinks and a sit-down dinner.
