NZIOB Kalmar Fishing Competition

The annual NZIOB Kalmar Fishing Competition will be held at Auckland’s Gulf Harbour Yacht Club on 7 March 2014.
Kalmar chief executive officer Peter Kay said the event was set to top last year’s competition in which nearly 200 construction professionals took part.
“Apart from all the other really good prizes to be won, we’ll have some $15,000 worth of Shimano gear up for grabs,” Mr Kay said.
Fishing will commence at 6am and end at 3pm.  The cost is $65 per person for a boat with at least one NZIOB member on board, or $75 per person for non-member boats. The cost includes barbecue and drinks back at the Gulf Harbour Yacht Club.  Numbers are limited and tickets will be issued on a first come, first served basis.
