NZILA announces new patron
The NZILA Education Foundation has appointed a new patron, Thomas Woltz, who will be on hand to meet industry insiders at a cocktail event in Auckland on Saturday 12 October.
Woltz, principal at Nelson Byrd Woltz Landscape Architects, is touted as one of the leading talents on the US landscape architecture scene and was the winner of the 2013 NZILA George Malcolm Award for his stunning design at Nicks Head Station - south of Gisborne.
Other luminaries being introduced on the night include the growing list of Landscape Ambassadors who have agreed to come on board as supporters of the Education Foundation in its ongoing endeavours. The new-look NZILA website – with its I-Library, believed to be a first for the profession in Australasia and designed to keep members in touch with the world of landscape architecture and its impact on the environment – will also be unveiled. A variety of auction items will also be available to bid on, with funds going towards the ongoing development of the I-Library.
Tickets are limited and available on a first come, first served basis. Click here to register.
