Wellington artist holds open day
Wellington-based artist Anna Stichbury began painting seriously about 20 years ago after turning her hand to a number of creative enterprises and has featured in a number of joint and solo exhibitions.
Stichbury has recently begun inviting the public into her home studio in the Wellington suburb of Northland and will be hosting an open day on Saturday 16 November.
As well as painting, Stichbury has turned her hand to fashion, producing a line of t-shirts featuring a recurring character from her artworks – Little Peta Rabbit.
“I launched the tee in-store at Magnolia Wellington during the Wearable Art week and I’ve been absolutely thrilled with the response so far.”
