Rasen Kaigan by Lieko Shiga

Dwelling on the creative afterlife of images and the grounding potential of the poetic gesture, All There Is Left showcases the imaginative productions of two artists: Lieko Shiga and Paul Johns, who have survived the recent earthquakes in Japan and New Zealand.

The works of these two artists will be accompanied by Reel-Unreel, an installation by Mexico City-based artist Francis Alys, commissioned for dOCUMENTA 13.

All There Is Left will be on display at the Adam Art Gallery, Victoria University of Wellington from Sunday July 21 to Sunday September 29.

Ms Shiga will also be conducting an artist lecture prior to the exhibition opening at the City Gallery Wellington on Friday 19 July at 6pm. Christchurch residents will also be able to view Ms Shiga’s works when they open at Physics Room Christchurch in October.
