Healthy Buildings 2012
In 2012, for the first time, the international Healthy Buildings conference will take place in the Southern Hemisphere. The program will include lectures, presentations, workshops and forums.
The conference’s keynote speaker is Professor Charles Weschler of the Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences Institute. Weschler also works with the UMDNJ/Robert Wood Johnson Medical School & Rutgers University, the International Centre for Indoor Environment and Energy at the Technical University of Denmark, and the Department of Building Science at Tsinghua University.
The three days of the conference will be divided into three main topic areas/symposia.
Day 1: Balance of power: Energy Conservation versus Indoor Environmental Quality
Day 2: Race against Time: Population, Urban Growth and Miracles of Technology
Day 3: Infection spread: Will breathing kill you?
