The World of Façades conference will take place on Thursday 23 February 2023 at the Pullman Auckland.

Presented by Thermosash, the World of Façades conference returns to Auckland for the second edition of this previously sold-out event.

The organisers of the international conference, taking place in Auckland on Thursday 23 February 2023, say the event will showcase sustainable innovations and discuss the challenges in the construction industry that pertain to the building envelope, while highlighting the latest façade technologies and solutions from an industry-wide range of experts.

Presenters will cover subjects such as high-performance, safety, sustainability and durability, along with the latest techniques and digital tools available.

Kent Nixon of the Thermosash Group and presenting partner of the event says Thermosash is pleased to be able to bring this event to the New Zealand construction industry again, following the overwhelming level of participation at the inaugural 2020 event of the worldwide conference series.

“For the last 49 years, Thermosash has shared our knowledge on façade design, engineering and technological innovations and we’re excited that our participation and sponsorship of the 2023 iteration affords the many presenting authorities on façades the platform to share their knowledge and expertise to the wider industry, for the betterment of our built environment,” says Nixon. “We’re looking forward to seeing everyone there.”

The World of Façades presenter lineup includes:

Blair Parkinson, Associate Principal, Woods Bagot
David Hayes, CEO, Thermosash Group
Ben Masters, Principal - Sustainable Buildings, Beca
