At an exclusive breakfast event held at Citizen Park, Auckland’s newest venue, Urbis Designday 2013 was launched in lively fashion.
The 80-strong crowd was a mix of people from the New Zealand design community who all turned out for the big reveal of the design collaborations for 2013. The pairings were announced by host and media personality Jon Bridges.
This year’s creative participants – a combination of designers from a broad range of industries – are collaborating with their design showroom and sponsor partners to create a series of temporary installations, open to the public for one day only on Saturday 23 March, 2013. Each collaboration will interpret Urbis Designday’s 2013 theme, ‘Journey of Connections’.

The day runs from 10am to 5pm on Saturday 23 March, 2013. Guests will be sent an Urbis Designday map ahead of the event so they can choose where to begin their day. More information can be found here.
