About the role
Due to our rapid expansion, we are seeking an architectural graduate/technician passionate about great design and architectural drawings. You will be working alongside a talented team of other graduates, architects, Te Ao Māori advisors, landscape and urban specialists and project managers.
Responsibilities
- Working on a range of projects from early concept stage to construction
- The ability to work collaboratively across our team and with external consultants
- Self-management and the capability to work on projects independently where needed
- Good written and verbal communication and confidence to interact with clients when required
- Can demonstrate detailed knowledge of NZ Building Codes and NZS3604
- A passion for documentation and proficient in technical detailing
- An understanding of NZ construction methods, Building Consent and Resource Consent procedures
- A passion for Te Reo Māori is highly desirable, or willing to learn – we will teach you! He manaakitanga te reo Māori!
- Expertise working within at least one of the following areas: Standalone & Multi-Residential, Apartments, Commercial and Civic projects
- On-site construction observation experience is an advantage
Qualifications and skills
- Professional architectural degree/diploma
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience working within a NZ architectural practice
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Revit required
- Competency in Adobe Suite & Microsoft Office software is an advantage
