With Covid highlighting the ease of airborne pathogen-spread indoors, aerosol researchers say there needs to be a focus on improving the quality of the air we breathe while inside.
This 60 Minutes news item features Professor Joseph Allen of Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health (profiled by science.org in The Air Investigator) and Dr Lindsey Marr of Virginia Tech, who specialises in the study of airborne pathogens.
The healthy buildings featured in the research include buildings for Paramount Group, Beacon Capital Partners (Boston) and Amazon’s new HQ, with its $250-million full-floor HVAC system in Arlington, Virginia.
