Ron Sang’s ‘lantern in the city’ to be lit up this weekend

This weekend, independent non-profit architecture publication Bypass Journal will present a collection of lights created by recent graduates of architecture and friends, in celebration of a year of collaborative dreaming and making.

Curated within Ron Sang’s ‘lantern in the city’, the exhibition will be held on Levels 1 and 2 of the Choice Plaza in downtown Auckland, with the opening at 7pm on Saturday 29 November.

Bypass Journal organisers Binh Minh Ha, Oliver Ray-Chaudhuri and Philip Lee say memories from the building’s past – “the hopes of its developer, the tumultuous highs and lows of its first few decades and our fond recollections of dining there during university” – will be illuminated by a constellation of new additions.
