Plus Architecture has crossed the Tasman
Australian firm Plus Architecture has offices in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and now also in Christchurch. Established in 1997, Plus Architecture has experience in commercial, multi-unit residential, master planning, aged care and mixed-use developments.
Jaimin Atkins is director of the new Christchurch firm, who relocated with his family in July 2015. He brings with him over a decade of experience that he has gained working at Plus Architecture’s Melbourne office. He has been responsible for projects such as Melbourne-based apartment developments Eminence, Element and Gravity Tower.
The Australian team will be supporting the projects undertaken by the Christchurch office with imminent plans to grow the team. Plus Architecture has completed over 200 projects in Australia to date, and with their current project portfolio of 50 the company will bring a wealth of experience in project design, documentation and feasibility skills to the New Zealand market.
Alongside Atkins, Plus Architecture’s director team also includes Ian Briggs, Jessica Liew, Rainer Strunz and Craig Yelland, each with nearly two decades of designing and delivering residential and commercial projects to Australia’s landscape.
