New Zealand projects shortlisted for WAF Special Prizes
Te Taumata o Kupe by TOA Architects, and University of Auckland B201 Building by Jasmax, have been shortlisted for ‘Best use of colour’ and ‘The Sustainability Prize’ respectively in the 2024 World Architecture Festival awards programme.
The Special Prize shortlist is selected from across the greater WAF Awards shortlist announced earlier this year (8 July).
Projects selected for a Special Prize display exceptional architectural merit across six categories: Best use of Colour, The Sustainability Prize (supported by ROCKWOOL), Small Project of the Year, Best use of Stone (supported by Turkish Stones), Best use of Natural Light (supported by VELUX) and the GROHE Water Prize, awarding projects pushing the boundaries of design within the built environment and water.
