NZ Panels Group, parent company for Bestwood, Prime Panels and Dezignatek, has appointed Desiree Keown to the newly created role of group marketing manager, based in Auckland. The appointment reflects the rapid growth of the company.

Keown was previously managing her own marketing consulting business, Marketecture, and spent seven years as marketing manager for Cavalier Bremworth prior to that.

Keown is well-known in Auckland architectural circles through her work in revitalising the AAA CavBrem Awards and introducing Polyflor as the new sponsor for the AAA Visionary Architecture Awards.

Keown says she’s delighted to have a national specifier team reporting to her, all with significant experience and networks in the interiors and architecture space.

“It’s a dream role that plays to all my strengths. I’m looking forward to developing the brands further and helping support the specifier team in growing the business,” she says.
