A family home in Ashburton, built by Jennian Homes Mid Canterbury, has been named this year’s finest Mid and South Canterbury entry, winning the Supreme Award in the Mid and South Canterbury Region Registered Master Builders 2014 House of the Year; announced at a gala dinner on Friday, 11 July.

As well as the overall Supreme Award, Jennian Homes Mid Canterbury took out a Gold Award and Category win for the PlaceMakers New Homes $350,000 - $450,000 category and the Registered Master Builders Craftsmanship Award.

The judges said this is a very liveable home. A lot of thought has gone into making the most of the sun, also the workmanship and quality of finish is superb.

The seven Gold Award winners from the Mid and South Canterbury Region will now be assessed alongside Gold Award winners from across the country to find the National Gold Reserve finalists, to be announced in early September.

National category winners and the Registered Master Builders Supreme Awards for Renovation of the Year and House of the Year will be announced at a gala dinner in Auckland in November.
