At Architecture+Women•NZ’s annual general meeting, held on 26 May at the NZIA offices in Zurich House, Auckland, Megan Rule elected to stand down from the position of co-chair.

Megan is a co-founder of A+W•NZ, which was established in May 2011, and has held the position of co-chair since the establishment of A+W•NZ as an Incorporated Society in January 2014.

Megan has given five years of her time, energy, experience, commitment and ‘pioneering spirit’ to the organisation. She brought strong connections to the industry and the profession, and achieved her goals of the creation of publications for architectural libraries and bookshops and ensuring that ongoing mentoring discussions are in place. 

Thanks to Megan, A+W•NZ has a strong nationwide network, with groups operating in the Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Southland, Christchurch and Wellington.

A+W•NZ will notify all members via newsletter of the ‘Call For Nominees’ and voting process to fill the currently vacant co-chair position in due course.
