Jasmax announces three new leadership positions
Jasmax has announced that principals Sarah Hayden, Mary Henry and Roberta Johnson will take on new management roles within the firm. Hayden has been named the practice lead of the commercial team; Henry will now co-lead the education team; and Johnson will hold the newly-created management role of the health practice group.
The company’s CEO, Sjoerd Post, says, “At Jasmax we are continually cultivating new leadership in order to deliver the highest design outcomes. I am pleased to announce these appointments from these three women who have shown vision and drive in all they have undertaken, and I look forward to working with them in their new roles going forward.”
Hayden has been with Jasmax for nearly two decades and has worked on large public health facilities such as Burwood Hospital and the University of Otago Dental School redevelopement, which is due to be completed in 2021.
Henry, who was recently appointed principal, will co-lead the education team with Chris Scott. She is an award-winning designer who worked on the delivery of the AUT Mana Haoura building.
Johnson brings a wide-ranging background, from university teaching to running her own firm, to her new management role. Jasmax notes, “Having played a significant role in the evolution of Jasmax’s bi-cultural design identity, this role will allow her to pursue her interest in patient-centred healthcare design in New Zealand.”
