3. What categories can I enter?

You can enter six primary categoriess:

Retail
Hospitality
Workplace
Civic
Installation
Emerging Design Professional - For young professionals 30 years or less with significant professional achievements (New award introduced in 2013)

You can also enter the optional category:

Craftsmanship - For professionals who have designed / created a bespoke object or solution for a project (New award introduced in 2013)

4. What is the judging criteria?

Projects entered into Retail, Hospitality, Workplace, Civic and Installation are rated on:

Emerging Design Professional entry is rated on:

Craftsmanship entry is rated on:

5. How many winners and finalists will there be?

1 supreme winner. Selected from the 7 category winner
7 category winners: Retail, Hospitality, Workplace, Civic and Installation, Emerging Design Professional, Craftsmanship. Selected after the 18 finalists present live to the jury
18 finalists. 3 finalists per category selected by jury from entries received

6. Prizes and Publicity

A cash prize of $6,000 is awarded to the Supreme winner
A cash prize of $1,000 is awarded to the Emerging Design Professional winner
The Supreme winner as well as all category winners and finalists receive bespoke trophies
The winter (June) issue of Interior covers winners and their winning projects. Winning entries are also featured and recognised across AGM’s digital platforms and relevant industry magazines, and are permanent additions to the ArchitectureNow awards gallery.
