Design a light for Corporate Culture
Entries are now open for the 2012 Corporate Culture Design Journey Competition and this year’s designers are challenged to come up with an original lighting product suitable for use in both residential and commercial settings.
The design journey competition is open to industrial designers from New Zealand and Australia, and the brief is simple - to design a suspended LED pendant light which is glare free, using internal reflectors or similar materials. Designs will be judged based on originality, functionality, aesthetics, presentation and environmental considerations.
The winning design will be prototyped, exhibited then produced for Corporate Culture’s permanent collection. The winner will also have the chance to travel to Copenhagen to meet with renowned Danish designers, Rolf Hay (Founder of Hay) and Christian Rasmussen (Head of design for Fritz Hansen).
