The first of these announcements is that Sam Caradus — a longstanding member of the team at Crosson Architects — has been made a Principal.

As a crucial member of the team, Caradus’s work can be seen in many of the practice’s award-winning projects including Light Mine, (which went on to win an NZIA National Award and 2020 Home of the Year), the Kawau Island bach, Light & Clay House, and Shapeshifter, among others. Crosson says “Caradus is an extraordinary talent and a gifted leader and they are thrilled for him to join in the management and shape the future of Crosson Architects alongside Jerome Buckwell.”

The second promotion announced was the appointment of Kate Morland as an Associate. Morland, Crosson says, has enormous drive and initiative and is a key member of their team. “She is creative, exceptionally organised and a great conduit between clients, consultants and contractors. A talented Architect, Kate is currently leading a number of projects, while also playing a mentoring role to graduates in the studio.”

Crosson are pleased to announce the appointment of Sam Knight as an Associate. Crosson says “Sam has enormous ability, an analytical mind and vast technical knowledge with which he supports the studio. Sam is a committed team member and at ease under pressure. He is currently leading the construction of our new Crosson Architects office on Ponsonby Road.”
