Calling all young guns
If you are a forward-thinking, inventive and creative young designer then we'd like to hear from you. There's a new category at this year's Interior Awards that will recognise the skills of the professions younger members.
If you work in the field of architecture and design, are 30 years old or less (at the time of entries closing), and have significant professional achievements or a comprehensive body of work under your belt, then the new Emerging Design Professional category at the Interior Awards 2013 is for you.
Entering is easy – simply submit elements of your portfolio and any other relevant material (such as an optional statement of support or endorsement from an employer or client) via the Interior Awards website.
The awards jury will evaluate quality of the material, and those shortlisted will get the opportunity to present live to the judges.
All finalists will be published in the June issue of Interior and the Emerging Designer for 2013 will receive one weighty trophy and $1000 at the awards night event on 20 June.
