During the nationwide Level 4 lockdown, the Te Kāhui Whaihanga New Zealand Institute of Architects president Judi Keith-Brown asked architects, designers and graduates to take to the pen, paper and brushes to sketch their work from home set-ups.

As New Zealanders hunkered down once again in light of the latest COVID-19 lockdown, many architects and professionals across the country returned to working from home. With many sites stalled, these professionals used some of their free time to sketch their surrounds. The results range from whimsical to stark and come from designers across the country. We’ve rounded up a few of these in the gallery above.

Sketches courtesy of the NZIA and participating designers.
