Arcaid Images Architectural Photography Awards 2015
Twenty of the year’s best architectural images have been shortlisted by Arcaid for their 2015 awards – the annual Arcaid Images Architectural Photography Awards. The photographs will be exhibited at the World Architecture Festival in Singapore from 4-6 November, where the overall winner will be announced.
The awards have four categories – Exteriors, Interiors, Sense of Place, and Building in Use. The judging panel will focus on the photographer’s ability to translate architecture into understandable dimensions, and to explain detail, character and the surrounding environment of a project rather than focus only on the architecture itself.
Judges of the 2015 Arcaid Architectural Photography Awards are Barozzi/Veiga: Barcelona architects, Amy Croft: curator of Sto Werkstatt London, Katy Harris: Foster + Partners, Hufton + Crow: photographers, Ian Moore: Australian architect, Clifford Pearson: deputy editor of Architectural Record and Christine Murray: editor of The Architectural Review.
The winners will be considered for the Photographer of the Year Award, won last year by Hufton + Crow.
