A search for the best in bespoke
The 2013 Interior Awards will reward those who make a commitment to high levels of craft and detailed craftsmanship with a special award.
It could be anything, really: a light fitting, door handle, wayfinding system, screen or feature wall; or an artwork, decorative screen, desk, chair or carpet.
If you’ve introduced a special handcrafted something into one of your special projects then the Interior Awards team would like to hear from you.
The 2013 Interior Awards programme is looking to reward those that make the effort to include bespoke and crafted items into their work. As such, in this year’s programme a new category called Craftsmanship has been introduced, which recognises a bespoke product / solution that has been created specifically for an interior project.
At the awards, the judges will select an overall winner based on a few factors: the design concept, the process of creation of this bespoke object, and how it was integrated and impacts upon the overall aesthetic of an interior space.
This competition is open to any designer or craftsperson. The only condition is that the bespoke object must be a part of a project that has been entered into one of the main Interior Award categories.
